I swear there are a million recipes for keto pancakes. Some have no flour, some have almond or coconut…most are egg based, some have cream cheese…so many options.
I will add more as I try them –
This recipe doesn’t have great reviews, but they looked awesome, so I made them. I added a little more sweetener and some cinnamon. They tasted ok, but the texture was not quite right. On the recipe page they seem positive that cow’s milk or coconut milk MUST be used and I only had almond, so maybe that was it.
- Coconut Flour
- No Cream Cheese
This one is not a traditional “pancake” but it is probably my favorite so far…and so easy. This is a baked pancake, so you don’t have to stand at the stove flipping and waiting. Everyone can eat at the same time. This is kind of a dutch baby style pancake. I added cinnamon and sweetener to this one too.
- Almond Flour
- Sour Cream, but No Cream Cheese
These seem to be the “standard” keto pancake…they are ok, but to me the cream cheese and egg combo makes a strange almost metallic taste. Other people love them, so this might just be a me thing. They are thin and crepe like and actually make decent sandwich wraps when cooled.
- No Flour
- Cream Cheese
